Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Planner to support the successful delivery of complex engineering programmes within a forward-thinking and innovative environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of emerging mobility solutions, including electrification, connected systems, and autonomous technologies.

You will play a key role in coordinating projects and their interdependencies within an Agile framework, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects using structured project management methodologies to achieve strategic business objectives
  • Identify, plan, and coordinate project activities in collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum Masters
  • Engage with operational teams to understand current processes and capture, document, and prioritise requirements
  • Manage governance activities, including milestone tracking, status reporting, and risk/issue management
  • Monitor programme health through KPIs and proactively drive risk mitigation and issue resolution
  • Apply Agile principles to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across project delivery
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment with expectations and value delivery
  • Support additional tasks as required to ensure overall programme success

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in project planning or project management, with a strong track record of delivery
  • Working knowledge or experience of Agile project management frameworks
  • Strong risk and issue management capabilities, with the ability to assess interdependencies and implement solutions
  • Analytical and methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex data and concepts to diverse audiences
  • Experience using structured problem-solving tools and methodologies
  • Adaptable and responsive to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence is advantageous
  • Strong team collaboration skills with a proactive and supportive mindset
