Affluent Technology Limited is seeking an experienced NVH CAE Model Build Integrator – Trimmed Body to support automotive NVH analysis programmes. The role focuses on developing, integrating, and validating high-quality trimmed body NVH CAE models, including BIW, closures, trims, and acoustic cavities.
The successful candidate will work closely with NVH analysts, design teams, and platform lead engineers to deliver robust, simulation-ready models using Altair HyperMesh (2024/2025) and OptiStruct, supporting both ICE and BEV vehicle programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Integrate Body-in-White (BIW) structures with closures, interior and exterior trims, and ancillary models.
- Assemble BIW parts using SPR, RSW, structural adhesives, seam welds, and related connection techniques to create fully runnable BIW models.
- Integrate BIW, bolt models, exterior trims, interior trims, under-bonnet components, and subsystems using custom scripts.
- Perform trimmed body integration for both ICE and BEV vehicle architectures.
- Create and manage acoustic cavity models for a range of vehicle programmes.
- Conduct model quality checks and OptiStruct check runs (Statics, Global Modes) to validate trimmed body model integrity.
- Generate first-site reports for trimmed body models and cross-check global modes against FRF simulations.
- Collaborate closely with NVH analysts, design engineers, and Model Build / Platform Lead Engineers to ensure alignment and delivery quality.
- 5–10 years’ experience in automotive NVH CAE Trimmed Body Model Integration.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Altair HyperMesh 2024/2025.
- Solid working knowledge of OptiStruct NVH workflows, including modal and static checks.
- Proven experience in BIW and trim integration, including connection modelling and scripting.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to model quality and validation.
- Altair HyperMesh 2024 / 2025.
- Altair OptiStruct.
