Your Mission: Capture, package, and distribute Affluent's best ideas to build authority, generate opportunities, and drive growth. This is not a traditional social media role. You won't be managing generic content calendars or chasing trends. Your role is to uncover valuable insights from meetings, strategy sessions, client work, podcasts, workshops, and conversations across the business, then transform them into high-performing content that positions Affluent as one of the leading voices in DTC growth, creative strategy, and performance marketing. You will act as an extension of the Co-founder and leadership team, helping turn the expertise inside Affluent into content that builds trust, attracts opportunities, and drives long-term brand growth.

Why This Role Matters: The best ideas inside agencies often never leave the room. Every week, Affluent generates valuable insights through client work, testing, strategy, creative development, and conversations with leading e-commerce brands. Too often, those ideas stay internal. This role exists to capture the expertise, lessons, strategies, and insights generated across the business and turn them into content that builds authority, creates opportunities, attracts ambitious brands, and strengthens Affluent's position within the DTC ecosystem.

About Affluent: Affluent is one of the UK's leading e-commerce growth agencies. We help ambitious DTC brands scale through world-class creative strategy, performance marketing, and content systems. Our team has managed over £150 million in Meta ad spend and works with some of the fastest-growing brands in the UK and internationally. We're building a business known not only for the results we generate, but for the ideas we share. This role will play a key part in making that happen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Capture: Attend internal meetings, workshops, and strategy sessions; Capture insights from client calls, presentations, podcasts, and training sessions; Interview team members to uncover expertise, experiences, and unique perspectives; Identify valuable ideas, frameworks, stories, and lessons worth sharing externally; Build a consistent process for extracting content opportunities from across the business.
  • Content Creation: Write and publish LinkedIn content for the Co-founder; Write and publish X content for the Co-founder; Produce thought leadership content covering DTC growth, creative strategy, performance marketing, AI, business growth, and agency scaling; Create newsletters from internal learnings and industry insights; Repurpose long-form content into multiple formats; Turn a single conversation, presentation, or podcast into multiple content assets; Work with designers and editors to produce written, visual, and video-first content.
  • Personal Brand & Authority Building: Manage the Co-founder's personal brand presence; Identify opportunities for podcast appearances, collaborations, speaking engagements, and industry partnerships; Build relationships with operators, creators, media platforms, and event organisers across the DTC ecosystem; Monitor industry conversations and identify opportunities for Affluent to contribute meaningful insights; Help establish the Co-founder and Affluent leadership team as recognised voices within the industry.
  • Content Operations: Build and maintain a content engine that operates consistently; Create workflows, systems, and AI-assisted production processes; Maintain a database of ideas, insights, clips, content assets, and intellectual property; Coordinate content production across contributors, editors, and designers; Track performance and report on content impact, reach, and opportunity generation; Continuously improve systems to increase output, quality, and efficiency.

Success Looks Like: Within your first 12 months: A consistent publishing cadence is established across key channels; The Co-founder's audience, reach, and engagement continue to grow; Affluent becomes increasingly recognised for its ideas and expertise; Inbound opportunities, partnerships, and conversations increase; Podcast appearances, speaking opportunities, and collaborations become more frequent; Valuable insights are consistently captured and shared rather than lost internally; A scalable content system is operating effectively without constant founder involvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Traits: You are an exceptional writer and communicator; Naturally curious and always asking questions; Obsessed with uncovering valuable insights; Highly organised and detail-oriented; Proactive, resourceful, and self-directed; Comfortable working closely with founders and senior leaders; Interested in marketing, psychology, business, AI, and e-commerce.
  • Skills: You can turn a 60-minute conversation into multiple pieces of high-quality content; Spot interesting ideas that others overlook; Write convincingly in someone else's voice; Extract clarity from complex discussions; Take ownership of outcomes rather than waiting for instructions; Manage multiple projects without sacrificing quality; Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Bonus Points: Experience in DTC, e-commerce, or performance marketing; Experience managing founder-led personal brands; Strong understanding of LinkedIn and creator-led growth; Experience using AI tools and content workflows; Podcast production experience; Video editing or short-form content production experience; Experience working within agencies, media businesses, or creator-led brands.

Attitude: You're a detail-driven creative with an operational mindset. You care about producing work that performs, but you also care about building systems that make great work repeatable. You're constantly looking for ways to improve how things are done-whether that's refining a piece of content, streamlining a workflow, improving a process, or testing a new tool. You take ownership of quality, move quickly, and enjoy working in an environment where initiative is valued and ideas are encouraged.

What You'll Get: Structured training and development; Direct access to founders and senior operators; Opportunity to help build one of the most recognised brands in the DTC space; Significant ownership and autonomy from day one; Hybrid and remote working; 26 days paid holiday plus public holidays; Additional day off for your birthday; Company pension plan; Work with a high-growth portfolio of ambitious consumer brands; Join a performance-driven team focused on raising industry standards; Regular workshops, off-sites, and collaborative sessions; A culture built on creativity, ownership, ambition, and continuous improvement.

Interested? If you're someone who loves uncovering great ideas, telling compelling stories, and building authority for exceptional businesses and founders, we'd love to hear from you.
