The People Tech team at Affirm builds and optimizes the systems that power every stage of the employee journey by automating processes, enabling insights, and connecting people data to strategy. We create seamless, scalable solutions that empower affirmers and drive a culture of transparency, innovation, and growth through technology.

What You’ll Do

  • Support day‑to‑day Workday operations, including onboarding and offboarding processes, data loads, and troubleshooting across modules like HCM, Recruiting, Absence, and Time Tracking.
  • Ensure accurate, complete, and consistent people data across systems.
  • Work closely with our corporate legal team to ensure our system processes and procedures are following local, legal requirements.
  • Support compliance and audit efforts through careful data management and documentation.
  • Partner with People, IT, and cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities to automate or simplify manual processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects that enhance employee and manager self‑service.
  • Help document workflows, configuration decisions, and system changes for transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • Act as a trusted resource for employee Workday questions.
  • Support the creation of learning resources and guides that empower users to navigate Workday confidently.
  • Contribute to a positive employee experience by ensuring systems are intuitive, accessible, and reliable.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 1+ year of experience working with Workday or other major HRIS platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Clear communicator who enjoys solving problems and supporting others.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and comfort working with data.
  • Experience supporting Workday operations or configuration.
  • Familiarity with HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, employee transactions, compliance).
  • Experience in a fast‑paced, scaling, or fintech environment.
  • Demonstrated aptitude, initiative, and ownership in developing people technology skills — with a strong desire and drive to continuously learn, grow, and expand expertise in this space.

Pay Grade - E Equity Grade - 2

Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job‑related skills. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidised medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company). Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. GBR base pay range per year: £53,000 - £63,000.

Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Affirm is proud to be a remote‑first company! The majority of our roles are remote and you can work almost anywhere within the country of employment. Affirmer in proximal roles have the flexibility to work remotely, but will occasionally be required to work out of their assigned Affirm office. A limited number of roles remain office‑based due to the nature of their job responsibilities.
