Requirements
- Current NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration
- Minimum 6 months recent experience working in a care home setting (required)
- Practical BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Practical Manual Handling certification
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong knowledge of care home protocols and procedures
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willing to obtain)
What You'll Do
- Deliver person-centred care to residents in a care home environment
- Administer medications and manage medical treatments
- Monitor and assess resident health conditions and report changes
- Maintain accurate and detailed care records and documentation
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary care teams
- Support activities of daily living and promote resident wellbeing
- Ensure compliance with care home policies and health & safety regulations
- Provide leadership and mentoring to care support workers
