Affinity Partnerships are looking for a qualified Food Technology teacher to work in a secondary school in Weston-Super-Mare. The school will consider someone who is comfortable covering KS3 classes or KS3 and KS4, as well as also considering unqualified teachers with a food technology or cooking background. This role is for 6 weeks but has potential to be extended.

Salary

The successful candidate will be paid to scale MPS1 - UPS3.

Responsibilities

  • Qualified Teachers Status.
  • Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education.
  • Have excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
  • Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
  • Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour.
  • Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in small groups and 1:1.
  • Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
