Affinity Workforce Solutions is working with an outstanding special school called The Skills Hub, which aims to provide innovative education and a challenging environment for pupils aged 5 to 19. The school specialises in educating pupils with a wide range of Social, Emotional and mental health needs.
The Skills Hub is a co‑educational alternative provision for pupils in the London Borough of Hillingdon who cannot attend mainstream school for a variety of reasons. It holds many pupils who have been, or are at risk of, permanent exclusion.
Affinity Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Youth Mental Health રોક worker to support these pupils on a 1:1 or general classroom basis. The role will involve:
- Supporting pupils within the classroom alongside the class teacher
- Running activities with pupils outside the classroom when needed
- Ensuring the right support is in place for the students
