Affinity Workforce is working in partnership with schools and Multi Academy Trusts in Swindon, and we are currently recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to support across a range of year groups and subjects. We have a high demand for staff, offering both flexible day to day cover and longer term teaching placements. Whether you're looking for ad hoc work, consistent bookings, or a long term role starting September 2026, we can help find the right opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of all pupils
- Ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher
- Following school policies on safeguarding, behaviour, and health & safety
- Providing feedback to schools on pupil progress and classroom activity
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (preferred)
- Experience teaching in UK schools (essential)
- Strong classroom management skills
- A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
