Opportunities are available in Primary, Secondary, and SEN (Special Educational Needs) settings, offering a diverse range of experiences to suit your skills and interests.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role
- Supporting the teaching staff to help implement the curriculum.
- Under the supervision of the class teacher, undertake a range of directed activities to support the educational and development needs of pupils.
- Assist in the evaluation of student progress while feeding this back to the teacher.
- Assist teachers with the organisation and maintenance of the classroom resources.
Essential Requirements
- Good standard of education (5 x GCSE's - English and Maths C or above).
- Valid enhanced DBS.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
Desirables
- Have experience working with children (Does not have to be within a school setting).
- A relevant, recognised qualification such as the NVQ for Teaching Assistants or Qualified first aider.
