Affinity Partnerships are looking for a full-time learning support assistant to work in a primary school in Fishponds, Bristol. The ideal candidate would have experience working with children, whether that's as a teaching assistant or other work involving working with children, confidence in working with children with a variety of learning abilities and needs, be encouraging and positive as well as being supportive to their educational needs.

The successful applicant:

  • Have a sound understanding of Primary Education
  • Have excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
  • Have confidence supporting the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
  • Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour
  • Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in small groups and 1:1.
  • Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
