Affinity Partnerships are working in collaboration with a Secondary School in Bristol who are looking for a qualified English teacher to help cover maternity leave from January 2026 until February 2027. We are looking for an enthusiastic English teacher, who must be able to teach up to KS4, including GCSE classes. The successful candidate must be supportive and collaborative with the existing team at the school and be able to work with a range of abilities within the classroom.
Successful Applicant
- Qualified Teachers Status
- Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education
- Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills
- Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
- Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
- Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour
- Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in small groups and 1:1.
- Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
