We are seeking an inspirational and committed teacher to deliver high quality lessons and outstanding learning experiences across KS3 and KS4. You will play a key role in improving outcomes and life chances for all pupils through excellent teaching, high expectations and a broad, engaging curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Be a qualified teacher (or hold an equivalent teaching qualification).
  • Deliver consistently strong teaching within their subject area.
  • Support the needs of all learners, including SEND, pupil premium, looked after children and high attainers.
  • Communicate effectively, embrace change and build positive relationships with students, staff and families.
  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom.
  • Demonstrate strong professional practice and support the development of others.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teachers Status.
  • Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education.
  • Have excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
  • Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
  • Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour.
  • Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in small groups and 1:1.
  • Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
