We're looking for a Risk Manager who can work across the business, build strong relationships, and help teams identify, understand and manage risks in a practical and proportionate way. This is a highly visible role, working with colleagues at all levels, from operational teams through to senior leadership and the Board. You'll help embed our risk management framework, facilitate meaningful discussions around risk, and provide clear reporting that supports effective decision-making.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, sound judgement and a pragmatic approach. We can develop technical risk management knowledge, but we're looking for someone who can engage people, challenge constructively and turn risk concepts into practical actions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the continued development and embedding of our risk management framework.
  • Working with teams across the business to identify, understand and manage risks.
  • Facilitating risk workshops that encourage open discussion and ownership.
  • Providing practical advice and guidance on risk management and controls.
  • Promoting risk awareness through training, coaching and stakeholder engagement.
  • Producing clear risk reporting for senior management, the Executive Team and the Board.
  • Maintaining the corporate risk management system and supporting risk-related reporting requirements.

Experience and qualifications:

Essential:

  • Experience in risk management within a complex organisation.
  • Experience implementing or embedding risk management frameworks.
  • Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT literacy.

Desirable:

  • A relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIIA, CII, ARM).
  • Experience using analytics to support risk management activities.
