We are looking for a hands-on Health & Safety Advisor to promote safe and sustainable working practices across our operational areas. This will include a range of sites, such as water treatment works , construction projects and work in the highway.

Working closely with front-line and production teams, you will play a key part in driving our ambition of Zero Harm by influencing behaviours, building strong relationships on site, and ensuring our health, safety and wellbeing objectives are achieved across the organisation, whilst ensuring all our customers supply of wholesome water.

This is a field-based role covering sites across the M4/M25 corridor, including Chertsey, Staines, Heathrow, Rickmansworth and the surrounding areas, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to build strong relationships with teams across multiple locations. We're looking for someone who enjoys being out on site, engaging directly with people, and influencing a positive health and safety culture through visibility, coaching and practical support - not just compliance. If you're someone who thrives in a varied, operational environment where no two days are the same, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What makes this role different?

Every day, our customers depend on us to provide a reliable supply of clean, wholesome drinking water. Behind the scenes, that relies on thousands of people carrying out essential work safely, from operating treatment works and maintaining assets to delivering construction projects and repairing the network.

In this role, you'll play a vital part in making that happen.

By helping our teams identify and manage risk, supporting safe decision-making, and building a positive safety culture on site, you'll help ensure our people return home safely while enabling the uninterrupted delivery of an essential public service.

This is not a role where you sit behind a desk reviewing paperwork. You'll be out where the work happens, engaging with operational teams, understanding real-world challenges and influencing positive change. xgikmsk Your visibility, coaching and practical support will help create safer workplaces, stronger teams and a more resilient water supply for our customers.
