Affinity Water has a fantastic part time opportunity to work alongside the Community Operations team as a Community Operations Planner. Part time: 20-25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Flexible hours).
The Role
As a Community Operations Planner you will plan M&R activity across all regions whilst causing minimum disruption to our customers and network. You will coordinate both planned and reactive activity to deliver optimum efficiency in terms of time, cost and productivity of field-based teams. In addition to meeting or exceeding team standards and objectives you will ensure statutory and regulatory obligations are considered and adhered to e.g., Street Works Legislation, C-MEX, and leakage. Key Responsibilities
- Create schedules taking into consideration internal priorities KPI’s and ODI’s.
- A customer-focused approach to continuous improvement which leads to an enhanced customer experience.
- Participate and promote a Safety, Health and Environmental culture in our teams.
- Promote and develop the relationship with Community Operations suppliers/contractors.
- All statutory/regulatory obligations are adhered to e.g., Street Works, Leakage, C-MEX.
- Working to deadlines in terms of service level agreements whilst reviewing work to remove any potential obstacles.
What you need
- A strong focus on customer experience.
- Strong organisational & time management skills.
- A good understanding of the cost of all community operational activity and an ability to avoid unwanted and unnecessary costs.
- Knowledge of company ‘Job Management’ systems (FLS, Maximo & GIS) with the ability to make decisions to identify and provide solutions to customer disruption and other operational events.
- Understanding of Noticing/Permit requirements when working in the public highway.
- Understanding of reinstatement materials.
- Understanding of Traffic Management legislation to be able to provide guidance to all Affinity Water and contractor teams working in the public highway.
