Affinity Water has a new job opportunity available as a Catering Assistant at our Hatfield Hub.
The Role: As a Catering Assistant you will be providing a vital service in creating fresh, daily meals that fuel our employees and delight the external organisations who use our facilities. Your service will make a real difference to their well-being every day.
What you'll be doing:
- Undertaking general catering duties.
- Checking quality and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Preparation and provision of a range of meals and light snacks including a breakfast and lunchtime counter service and barrister style coffee.
- Preparation of in-house hospitality for meetings and events.
- Preparation and provision of the lunchtime deli bar for sandwiches and salads, ensuring optimum and flexible use of resources at all times.
- Compliance with all Health, Safety and Well-being working practices and procedures.
- Ensuring there is always a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene maintained within the Bistro, including undertaking deep cleaning duties as required.
- Promoting and maintaining a high standard of hygiene in accordance with the Food Hygiene Legislation.
What you'll need:
- Successfully completed level 3 in Catering Food Safety.
- Previous experience of working in a similar environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
