As an Asset Planning Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering a leading asset planning service to the business. This will be a diverse role where you'll be involved in planning capital investment schemes across our water abstraction, water treatment and pumping assets. You will gather and evaluate information to prioritise and develop projects through the concept and definition stages. You will work collaboratively with our asset management and operational teams to optimise the investment portfolio, delivering best value for our customers whilst balancing cost, risk and performance.
Key Skills Required
- Analytical mind and inquisitive approach, plus one or more of the following:
- Water industry experience
- Asset Planning/Asset Management experience
- Strong analytical and written communication skills
- Knowledge of water industry assets, equipment and processes (technical, pumps, water treatment)
- Operational risk management experience
- Degree in engineering discipline preferred – Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, general
