Affinity Water have a fantastic opportunity to join our Capital Maintenance Team as a DOMS Programme Lead.

The Programme Lead will be accountable for delivering routine cyclical maintenance work that aligns with our AMP8 strategy. You will lead the network and trunk main maintenance team, and other strategic delivery projects.

The Role:

As a DOMS Programme Lead you will be key to ensuring our maintenance activities are planned efficiently and aligned with our Regulatory performance commitments. A proactive and forward-thinking approach is required to understanding and reducing the company CRI score. You will oversee the programme budget, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to cost and in line with the expected outcomes and benefits. There will be an element of promoting schemes and reporting to internal Programme Boards.

You will support the Head of Capital Maintenance in developing and implementing strategic plans to optimise team performance, achieve key business objectives and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the programme, ensuring alignment with Regulatory performance commitments.
  2. Foster a collaborative work environment, build relationships with key stakeholders, support team development, and ensure that team members have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.
  3. Track and evaluate programme performance against key metrics and objectives. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
  4. Responsible for securing and managing funding for network maintenance projects, whilst adhering to internal governance processes.

What you’ll need:

  • Understanding of water quality, network systems, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices in network management.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects delivering on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and experience in leading operational teams and managing contracts.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • NEBOSH.
  • UK Driving Licence.

  • Salary: £65,000 (dependent on skills and experience).
  • Hours of work: 08:00am – 16:00pm (Mon – Thurs) 08:00am – 15:30pm (Fri).
