We are looking for a Contracts Manager; you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of essential water infrastructure projects, overseeing the installation of new water mains and service connections. You will be responsible for managing the performance of three key contractors, ensuring that projects are delivered in line with KPIs, SLAs, and regulatory standards.
With a strong focus on risk management and performance assurance, you will lead the charge in identifying project risks, tracking dependencies, and ensuring that issues are mitigated effectively. You will also be responsible for managing a Delivery Assurance Manager and Delivery Assurance Engineer, providing leadership and direction to ensure high performance and seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the performance of three contractors, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Monitor project timelines, defect resolution, and customer satisfaction to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Maintain and update a RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to minimise project delays and cost overruns.
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of water mains and service connection projects, ensuring they meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and deadlines.
- Ensure contractors adhere to Ofwat standards, health and safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact between contractors, internal teams, and senior management and provide regular updates on performance, risks, and project progress.
- Manage and support the Delivery Assurance Manager and Delivery Assurance Engineer.
