Affinity Water are looking for a highly organised and proactive Health & Safety Coordinator to join the Health and Safety Team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to support a vital function within the organisation, contributing to health, safety and wellbeing across the business. You will work closely with a professional and supportive team, developing your administrative, coordination, and reporting skills in a varied and meaningful role. The position plays a key part in supporting the Health, Safety and Estates Directorate to deliver effective services and ensure continued compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and administer health surveillance medical bookings, including tracking and reporting outcomes.
  • Manage and administer the lone working system, alongside providing support for other business systems as required.
  • Offer flexible administrative support to the wider Health, Safety and Estates Directorate to meet changing business needs.

Skills Required:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage your own workload effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across the business.
  • Experience in writing practical, concise, and well-structured reports.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and use your own initiative.

  • Hours of work: 08:30am - 17:00pm (Mon - Thurs) 08:30am - 16:30pm (Friday).
