Who will I support?

We support 10 people who all live in their own flats. In this role, you will provide essential support in people’s homes during the night, fostering connections and sharing interests. Whether they love watching late-night movies with a hot chocolate or need assistance getting up early, your presence will be invaluable. You will build meaningful relationships and offer thoughtful, responsive care, empowering individuals to navigate life with confidence and independence.

How will I make a difference?

As a support worker you’ll be there to lend a helping hand in a way that puts the person’s needs first, this means:

You will adaptyour support to fit what each person needs and wants daily.

You will encourage people to make their own choices, big and small.

You will help people to do things themselves to be as independent as possible.

You will support people to buildconfidence and life skills.

You will support people to be a part of their community, joining local clubs and connecting with friends and family.

You will be understanding, allowing people to take their time and do things at their own pace.

You will celebratepeople’s achievements, no matter how small they might seem to others.
