Role description

As a Support Worker at Affinity Trust, you will play an important role every day by supporting people with learning disabilities and autism to take part in the activities and experiences they value, helping them live with confidence and independence. This could be something simple, like walking to the shops for a pint of milk, or something more significant, such as supporting someone to visit the gym for the first time, start a new hobby, or take a trip abroad. We provide full training to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality support to people with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs. What truly matters is your kindness, positivity, and genuine desire to make a difference in someone’s day.
You will need to work shifts (early starting at 7am and late finishing at 10pm) across the week and some weekends and be prepared to undertake Sleep in shifts for this role.
