Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week in Thame, Oxfordshire or Leicester.

Travel: You will need to be able to travel between offices and attend key meetings when required.

Contract: Permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week)

Help us turn data into clear, useful insight across Affinity Trust. We’re looking for a Reporting Analyst to help us make better use of data through accurate, accessible dashboards, reports and analytics. This is a hands‑on specialist role where you’ll use Power BI to improve data visibility, strengthen performance reporting and support better decision‑making across the organisation. Your work will help colleagues, senior leaders and trustees understand performance, spot trends and take action.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design, build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Use Power Query, DAX and data modelling to produce accurate, reliable insight.
  • Translate reporting needs into clear, practical reporting solutions.
  • Define, monitor and report on KPIs that support performance and improvement.
  • Test, validate and release recurring and ad‑hoc reports.
  • Support good data governance, GDPR compliance and responsible use of information.

About you:

  • Hands‑on experience developing reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI.
  • Good working knowledge of Power Query, DAX and data modelling.
  • Strong understanding of data visualisation and dashboard design.
  • Experience gathering requirements and explaining insight to non‑technical colleagues.
  • Experience defining and monitoring KPIs, and testing and validating reports.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines.
  • A values‑led approach, with a commitment to listening, learning, collaboration and trying new things.
