About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team and support the overall Financial Accounting function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing accurate financial information. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the reporting of fixed and leased assets, processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting the wider Finance team.

What will you do?

  • Processing sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Posting weekly and monthly payroll as required.
  • Obtaining and verifying appropriate authorisation for consolidated invoices from Magnit.
  • Ensuring insurance records and documentation are maintained and kept up to date.
  • Providing holiday cover for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
  • Supporting the Treasury Assistant with the production and raising of utility invoices.
  • Assisting the Financial Controller with financial analysis and reporting activities.
  • Reconciling designated balance sheet accounts to ensure assets and liabilities are correctly recorded and any issues are identified and resolved promptly.
