Job Overview: As a Support Worker at Affinity Trust, you will support people to take part in the activities and experiences they value, helping them to live with confidence and independence. Your work will be integral in providing care and companionship, ranging from simple tasks such as picking up milk, to supporting patients in visiting the gym, starting a new hobby or travelling abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs to participate in daily activities.
  • Assist with errands, shopping, cooking and other aspects of everyday life.
  • Build trust and connection to promote independence and confidence.
  • Collaborate with a compassionate, mindful and dedicated team and seek opportunities for personal development.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence essential at some locations.
  • All candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check; Affinity Trust will submit the application and cover the cost.
  • Full training will be provided and an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care will be awarded upon successful completion.
