As our PBS Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that everyone receives the support they need. Using your leadership skills and expertise, you will help us to create a culture where every voice is heard, valued, and supported in a way that makes sense to them.
What will I do?
- Lead, coach and develop a small team of dedicated PBS practitioners and a psychologist ensuring their work aligns with best practices and Affinity Trust standards of quality
- Empower teams with guidance and tools to develop and refine approaches that respect the choices and unique voices of the people we support
- Design and deliver high-quality PROACT SCIP and PBS training to build confidence and capability within the team
- Continuously evolve our approach by evaluating the impact of training, using data and best practices to drive meaningful improvements
- Advocate for inclusivity in everything we do, every day.
What do I need to demonstrate in my application?
- A relevant qualification or accredited training in Positive Behaviour Support or Behaviour Analysis at diploma or degree level.
- Willingness to complete a qualification in Positive Behaviour Support and PROACT SCIP instructor training
- Proven experience in Positive Behavioural Support, with a passion for putting people at the forefront of what we do
- Strong leadership skills, particularly in coaching, mentoring and developing people.
- Knowledge of evidence-based approaches to providing support that is not restrictive
- Ability to analyse data and use it to inform practice and decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
You will be a driver, with access to a vehicle and be prepared to travel for work as required (Mileage paid)
