  • Provide essential support to the gentleman in his home during the night, fostering connections and sharing interests
  • Build meaningful relationships and offer thoughtful, responsive care
  • Adapt support to fit what each person needs and wants daily
  • Encourage people to make their own choices, big and small
  • Help people do things themselves to be as independent as possible
  • Support people to build confidence and life skills
  • Support people to be a part of their community by joining local clubs and connecting with friends and family
  • Be understanding, allowing people to take their time and do things at their own pace
  • Celebrate people’s achievements, no matter how small they might seem to others
