How would you feel if you knew you would change lives and make a difference in someone's life experience? As a Support Worker at Affinity Trust, you will make a difference every day, supporting people to live their best lives, giving them confidence and choice. One day, it could be a trip to the supermarket, the next, supporting them in a new hobby. Your support means people can live more independently; in the way they choose. Ultimately, your support gives people the freedom to be themselves.

Some people may need support with areas of their personal care and well-being, support to take medication or help getting around and your role is to empower and connect, help them navigate life with confidence and independence. You will need to be able to work flexibly across the week, including some weekends and some sleep‑in shifts too. The ability to get to this location as early as 7am and finishing again at 10pm though is essential, as this home is hard to reach using public transport.

We provide complete training to enable you to provide the best support you can to people living with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs. However, we know that what is essential is your kindness, energy, and willingness to make someone's day brighter.
