Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living activities in their own home and in the community, including engaging in activities they enjoy such as visits to the garden centre, drives, walks, picnics, trips to the seaside, and social outings.
- Assist with personal care and daily tasks as part of a person-centred approach to empowerment and independence.
- Support with moving and handling as required, including use of a hoist for eligible individuals.
- Promote independence, confidence, and choice, ensuring a respectful and enabling environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence (required).
- Enhanced DBS check (to be completed; employer-paid).
- Ability to support with moving and handling and to follow safety procedures and care plans.
