Affinity Trust is recruiting Bank Support Workers to support people with learning disabilities in Connel and Oban.
This role suits someone caring, patient, and practical who wants flexible work while making a genuine difference to people’s everyday lives.
The role
You will support individuals in their own homes and shared housing to live as independently as possible.
You will help with everyday tasks such as cooking, shopping, household activities, and managing routines.
You will encourage confidence, independence, and personal choice in day to day life.
You will support people to take part in activities they enjoy, including local groups, walks, cycling, day trips, football matches, and social outings.
You will build positive, respectful relationships and provide consistent, person centred support.
Working pattern
This is a bank role with flexible hours.
Shifts are offered as and when required, making this suitable for people looking for flexible work.
What we are looking for
You should be caring, reliable, and committed to supporting people with dignity and respect.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
Previous care experience is helpful but not essential, as full training is provided.
This role has a genuine occupational requirement for female applicants under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
Sponsorship is not available for this role.
