As a Support Worker at Affinity Trust you will play an important role each day by supporting people to take part in the activities and experiences they value, helping them to live with confidence and independence. This may be something simple such as taking a walk to the shops or getting a pint of milk, or something bigger such as supporting someone to visit the gym, start a new hobby, or even take a trip abroad.

At this location we support four young ladies and one gentleman whose primary needs are mental health and learning disabilities. They enjoy going out into the community and participating in their hobbies.

Responsibilities

  • Support people to engage in daily routines and activities they value.
  • Encourage confidence and independence.
  • Assist with travel and social outings.
  • Build trust and connection while maintaining dignity.

Qualifications & Training

  • Full training provided, including NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience or knowledge of working with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs is desirable.
  • Enhanced DBS check (paid for by employer).
