Role Overview
Affinity Staff is recruiting compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our agency team, supporting an established care facility in Chelmsford, Essex.
As a temporary HCA working through Affinity Staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality personal care, dignity, and companionship to residents. You will enjoy complete control over your schedule while benefiting from our dedicated, round-the-clock support.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting residents with daily personal care, dressing, hygiene, and mobility needs.
Supporting meal times, nutrition monitoring, and encouraging hydration.
Promoting dignity, independence, and person-centred care at all times.
Maintaining accurate care records and daily fluid/food intake documentation.
Collaborating with senior carers and nursing staff to ensure a safe, supportive environment.
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of experience in a UK healthcare or care home setting.
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred but not essential).
Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willing to process a new one).
Valid Right to Work in the UK.
Caring, reliable nature with excellent communication skills.
