What Weβre Looking For:
- Experience working with young people (e.g. in education, youth work, coaching, or similar)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Confidence in delivering pre-set lesson plans and supervising students
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to adapt
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Your Role as a Cover Supervisor:
As a Cover Supervisor, youβll play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects and year groups
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students with their learning and encouraging engagement
- Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and classroom activity
- Building rapport with students and staff across different school settings
