Affinity Partnerships are looking for qualified teachers for multiple schools in Weston‑Super‑Mare. The ideal candidate will be comfortable teaching KS1 and KS2, at the front of the classroom, and passionate about their work.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistently strong teaching within the subject area.
  • Support the needs of all learners, including SEND, pupil premium, looked‑after children and high attainers.
  • Communicate effectively, embrace change and build positive relationships with students, staff and families.
  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom.
  • Demonstrate strong professional practice and support the development of others.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Sound understanding of Primary Education.
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
  • Confidence supporting KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
  • Experience supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
  • Team player with initiative and good sense of humour.
  • Experience working with children with a range of additional needs, including Autism, speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in small groups and 1:1.
  • Positive approach and flexibility to the demands of the job.
