Lansdown Park Academy is looking for an inspirational and resilient Class Teacher to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in an alternative provision setting, supporting young people to re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes.
You'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality, tailored curriculum, helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally, and preparing them for their next steps.
Lansdown Park Academy is a Pupil Referral Unit / Early Intervention provision in South Bristol, working with pupils from KS1-KS3 who require additional behavioural support.
The school offers:

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across relevant key stages
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of students, including SEND, pupil premium and vulnerable learners
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
- Support pupils' progress, wellbeing and behaviour
- Contribute to the wider school life and enrichment opportunities
- Track, assess and report on student progress
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Has experience delivering high-quality teaching across key stages
- Can confidently support students with additional needs and behavioural challenges
- Is a strong communicator who can build positive relationships
- Is adaptable, motivated and committed to improving outcomes for young people
- Is able to travel between sites (driver required)
Note: This role is not suitable for ECTs.
