Teaching Assistant in Barstow

Affinity Partnerships are looking for passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistants to work in either primary or secondary schools across the Fishponds area of Bristol. We're seeking candidates with experience working with children who can confidently support a range of learning needs, thrive in a collaborative team environment, and bring a positive, encouraging approach to helping pupils succeed.

The successful applicant:

• Have a sound understanding of Primary/Secondary Education
• Have excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
• Have confidence supporting the KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 curriculum
• Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
• Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour
• Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in small groups and 1:1.
• Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
