Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assist children with additional learning, behavioural, or communication needs
  • Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging learning activities
  • Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and independence
  • Support positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Adapt learning resources to meet individual pupil needs
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

About You

  • Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals (desirable)
  • Background in education, SEN, care, support work, youth work, or similar sectors
  • Patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach
  • Passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles
  • Reliable, proactive, and committed to making a difference
