Could you be our next Local Governor? Affinity Learning Partnership is looking to recruit Local Governors across our Trust. We are looking for people with a diverse range of skills, experience and backgrounds to make a positive difference to the lives of our students. As a Trust, our vision is to be an organisation where everyone belongs, progresses and thrives. This takes strategic thinking, dedication and, above all else, a partnership approach. We are seeking volunteers with the skills and enthusiasm to effectively gather assurances on behalf of the Trust Board around the effectiveness of our schools in delivering that vision. This is a rewarding role that provides an excellent opportunity for personal and professional development.

Responsibilities

Local Governors are required to attend up to 6 meetings per academic year, outside of the school day, along with occasional visits to the school.

  • Eton Park Junior Academy, Burton-upon-Trent
  • Lansdowne Infants Academy, Burton-upon-Trent
  • Horninglow Primary, Burton-upon-Trent
