The Role

You’ll be based out of Milestones Early Learning Warners Bay while supporting 5 additional services across the Newcastle and Hunter Valley region. You will love the challenge of leading a team of educators as well as supporting the Senior Operations team!

  • Provide leadership and operational direction to an Affinity Education Group operated centre and provide support when needed to our wonderful Area Manager and fellow services.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Centre Manager wanting to join a rapidly growing company looking for the next step in your career. In addition to a dedicated Operations team, you’ll be fully supported by a national team including Quality, Education, Facilities, Finance, Human Resources, Safety and Compliance, Marketing and Promotions - just to name a few.

About you

  • Able to work full-time, Mon-Fri (monthly RDO negotiable)
  • A natural leader, committed to realising the potential of others
  • Driven to provide exceptional quality while delivering financial results which ensure our centre can operate sustainably
  • Loves building long-lasting connections with your local community, families and the children in your care
  • Experienced in achieving targets and meeting safety and compliance standards
  • Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Will lead centre to Meet and Exceed National Quality Standards

You have:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
  • 5 years experience leading a large service or area
  • Experienced in achieving targets and meeting safety and compliance standards
  • A current Working with Children’s Check
  • Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain

About the Role

  • $90k - $100k a year + uniform + PD
  • Guiding and managing business performance of the service
  • Coaching and mentoring both Centre Leadership Teams
  • Supporting with Marketing and occupancy growth
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Area Manager
  • Support with Quality and Education of the service
