About Us: Affinity Children’s Care Services is a residential childcare provider, offering a variety of residential placements to young people between the ages of 8–18 who may display emotional, challenging behaviours and often experienced significant adversity/trauma in their young lives.
Our Aim: To create a safe and sustainable nurturing environment for our young people and a developmental and rewarding workplace for our care team. We ensure our team(s) adhere to Ofsted standards and guidelines referencing the Children’s Act and Children’s Care Standards; Ofsted is the looked after children’s regulatory body.
Position: We have the opportunity to appoint a part time Responsible Individual to support and guide the Dual Home Registered Manager to deliver outstanding operational standards within our 2 therapeutic EBD children's homes. The hours of work would be 09:00 am - 5:00 pm, working 3 days per week (no set days), however the role may lead to 4 days if there is a requirement. There may be an occasion to cover emergency on call in conjunction with the home management team.

Role of the Responsible Individual:
- Previously been registered by Ofsted.
- To lead and support the Registered Manager to deliver outstanding operational standards.
- Responsible for the safeguarding of the young people placed in our care.
- The RI is to carry out required audits for the services.
- To meet legislation and Ofsted compliances and governance.
- Control of budgets and finances for both homes.
- Implement and oversee Ofsted action plans.
