Our client, a growing domiciliary care provider in Manchester North & Salford, is seeking a proactive and personable Care Coordinator to join their supportive, expanding team. The Role
As Care Coordinator, you will play a key part in ensuring customers receive safe, consistent, person‑centred care. You will manage rotas, support carers day‑to‑day, and ensure smooth communication between customers, families, carers, and external professionals. While the role develops, you will initially provide hands‑on care 1–2 days per week to build strong customer relationships and fully understand the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate and manage staff rotas
- Ensure all customer visits are fully and safely covered
- Review and update person‑centred care plans
- Introduce carers to customers and maintain communication about any changes
- Liaise with GPs, pharmacies, district nurses and other professionals
- Support with on‑call and rota cover when needed
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with CQC expectations
- Deliver hands‑on care 1–2 days per week during the early stage of the role
About You
You'll succeed in this role if you're confident, organised, relationship‑focused, and able to stay calm under pressure.
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 1 year's experience in domiciliary care (coordinator or senior carer level)
- Full UK driving licence & own vehicle
- Local to Manchester / Salford
- Strong communication and people skills
- Confident working with scheduling systems and care documentation
