This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Care Home Manager located in Lincoln. The Registered Care Home Manager will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities include managing staff, supporting residents, maintaining operational efficiency, and ensuring appropriate care plans are implemented. The manager will work to sustain a safe, welcoming environment while fostering positive relationships with residents, their families, and the local community.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in care home or healthcare management, with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, including the ability to motivate and develop teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets, resources, and performance metrics.
  • Empathy, patience, and a deep commitment to delivering person-centred, compassionate care.
  • Proficiency in documentation, problem-solving, and decision-making under pressure.
  • Experience in dementia care or complex care needs, as well as knowledge of best practices for these areas, is a plus.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Registered Care Home Manager is essential.
  • Experience managing a similar-sized home (40-50 beds preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of care regulations and inspection frameworks.
  • Demonstrable experience in achieving good or outstanding inspection ratings.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage budgets and improve occupancy levels.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in dementia or elderly care.
