Affinion International, a global leader in online financial products, urgently requires an experienced Front End Web Developer to work within the Online team based just outside of London. You will be developing XHTML, HTML5, CSS and jQuery on an existing application framework that currently powers our websites. You must be a forward-thinking front end web developer with a strong desire to develop pixel perfect websites.
Role:
- To develop website UIs for a number of well-known clients across the UK and Europe.
- To produce valid, standards compliant and pixel perfect HTML and CSS based on supplied website specifications.
- To test website rendering across an agreed set of web browsers so that it appears consistent across all of them.
- To attend project meetings and fix front-end bugs raised by the QA team.
Requirements:
- Ability to develop, and integrate, pixel perfect website user interfaces, across all browsers, based on supplied Photoshop files.
- Ability to develop websites based on business requirements, wireframes, sitemaps and technical guidelines.
- You must have strong and demonstrable experience with HTML, HTML5, JavaScript (and jQuery) and CSS.
- You will be asked to provide URLs to recent online work that you have produced, prior to interview.
- Good client facing and communication skills to all levels of management.
- Degree in computer science or related preferred, however, applicants with other types of degrees or qualifications with relevant experience will also be considered.
