Purpose Of The Role
Affinia is recruiting for a Bookkeeper to come and join the Accounts department in our Harlow office. The role will involve a full bookkeeping experience for the client.
- Accountabilities
- With support, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, assisting with:
- Month end process
- Monthly reports including revenue and monthly turnover
- Credit card receipts
- Supporting accountants with yearend, by providing accurate trial balance and reports
- VAT Returns and CIS returns and ONS Surveys.
Skills/Qualifications
- Preferably AAT qualified but qualified by experience considered
- Strong IT/Microsoft abilities
- A professional approach with the ability to communicate with clients both via email, phone and face to face
- Experience in Xero/Sage and Quick Books
- Ability to work towards deadlines
- Understanding of VAT and CIS
- A minimum of 5 GCSE’s (Level 5 and above), which must include Maths and English language.
- Ability to respond and be reactive to shifting priorities at short notice.
- Have clear written and spoken communication and strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask under pressure and to mentor others.
