Draftable is building the next generation of document drafting tools for lawyers. We are part of Affinda Group, a founder‐led global AI company based in Melbourne, Australia. Since launching our first legal product in 2023, over 1,000 law firms and legal teams globally have adopted our product, including leading firms like Mills & Reeve and Brodies. We are growing ARR at well over 100% year‐on‐year, with very high win rates against incumbents and negligible churn. Our flagship document comparison product already matches or exceeds incumbent tools – and it is just the foundation for a broader product suite we are actively building.

Legal drafting technology is going through a generational shift. Firms are moving away from aging, bundled platforms in favour of modern alternatives, and we are winning those head‐to‐head evaluations across regions.

We are looking for an Account Executive based in the UK / Ireland to join our growing EMEA team. You will take over an active pipeline from a senior AE stepping up into a regional manager role. This is a role for a self‐sufficient seller: someone who can generate their own leads, run their own demos and close their own deals – treating internal support as a strategic resource rather than a daily dependency. You will have autonomy, uncapped earnings, and a product that customers genuinely love.

What makes this role compelling:

  • Active pipeline: You will inherit an active pipeline, so you are not starting from scratch; hit the ground running with the opportunity to close deals in your first month.
  • Full autonomy: Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close, strategically leveraging product and engineering support for complex requirements.
  • Uncapped earnings: Your success directly determines your compensation, with meaningful upside for high performers.
  • Real traction: Join a product customers are actively switching to, with best‐in‐class win rates and retention.
  • Opportunity: Work in a lean, high‐growth environment where you can make a direct impact without corporate bureaucracy.

You will:

  • Work closely with our regional sales leader as they step back from a quota‐carrying role.
  • Run full‐cycle sales: prospecting through to close, including discovery, tailored demos, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Take over and convert an active pipeline of deals.
  • Convert inbound leads while building robust pipeline coverage through targeted outbound campaigns, leveraging data‐driven prospecting and sales enablement tools.
  • Work with a modern tech stack to support the sales process, including HubSpot, Gong, Apollo and internally‐generated AI agents.
  • Learn the product deeply enough to demo confidently without leaning on pre‐sales support.
  • Represent Draftable at industry events and conferences.

What you will bring:

Essential:

  • 3+ years in B2B software sales with full‐cycle experience (prospecting through to close).
  • Track record of quota attainment in a small, high growth company (10‐100 people).
  • Comfortable operating autonomously without reliance on heavy sales support infrastructure.
  • Experience selling into regulated or complex industries (fintech, govtech, risk/compliance, legal etc).
  • Sufficient technical aptitude to run product demos independently.
  • Self‐motivated and able to thrive working remotely without needing an office environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with a habit of following through.

Nice to have:

  • Experience selling into law firms or complex professional services organisations.
  • Existing relationships with decision‐makers in UK law firms.
  • Familiarity with our tech stack (HubSpot, Gong and Apollo).

Who this won’t suit:

  • People coming from large enterprise software companies with heavy reliance on sales engineers and support teams.
  • Anyone who needs significant structure, process or hand‐holding to be effective.

Compensation & location:

Compensation: On‐target earnings (OTE): £120‐150k (depending on location/experience), including benefits. Uncapped commission with accelerators above quota.

Location: Belfast preferred (working directly alongside the regional sales leader). Open to exceptional candidates anywhere in the UK or Ireland. Fully remote with flexible working arrangements. Occasional travel for customer meetings, industry events and conferences.

How to apply: Submit in PDF format a short cover letter and your CV. We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace and welcome applications from all qualified individuals.
