About Us

Our client is a leading fintech company specialising in treasury management software solutions. Their platform helps global organisations optimise their cash management, risk management, and treasury operations through cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Senior Business Analyst to drive product development for their TMS platform. You will shape both their new SaaS solution and ongoing Desktop enhancements, working across the full product lifecycle from client engagement through implementation and post-go-live optimisation. This is hands-on work in a small, agile organisation serving global financial institutions and blue-chip corporates.

What You’ll Do

  • Define requirements based on deep domain expertise and industry best practices
  • Design enhancements across our comprehensive TMS platform and new SaaS build
  • Collaborate directly with Product, Development and QA teams from specification through testing and deployment
  • Mentor teams across Client Services, Development, and QA
  • Identify and drive competitive advantage through innovation

Critical Domain Expertise Required

  • Comprehensive Treasury Knowledge: Hands-on experience across all major instrument types (FX, Money Markets, Debt, Derivatives, Securities, Intercompany), including settlement cycles, confirmation processes, and valuation. A deep knowledge of static data management (entities, counterparties, accounts, and currencies), payments infrastructure (ISO 20022, SWIFT, SEPA, and local ACH), and cash/liquidity operations (positioning, forecasting, concentration, and pooling) is essential.
  • Payments & Settlement: Proven expertise in settlement optimisation, cost/speed trade-offs, in-house banking structures, netting arrangements, and exception handling.
  • Platform Mastery: Comprehensive understanding of TMS module interdependencies, deal workflows, status progressions, audit trails, and external system integrations.
  • Testing & QA: Proven ability to define detailed test scripts, design comprehensive test scenarios (positive, negative, boundary, stress), plan regression testing, and manage test data - strong collaboration with QA teams on defect prioritisation and resolution.

5+ years treasury systems experience (minimum 3 as Senior BA)

Treasury background – you’ve worked in treasury and with TMS platforms

Technical agility – comfortable with Excel, SQL, testing environments, and hands-on problem-solving

AI awareness – practical experience using AI tools for documentation, forecasting, anomaly detection, and reconciliation

Right to work – Europe or UK

Nice-to-Haves

  • Professional treasury qualification (ACT, CTP)
  • SaaS migration experience
  • SQL/database skills
  • EMIR/MiFID II/Basel III understanding
  • Regulatory reporting tools experience
  • Agile/Scrum certification
  • Speaking or published thought leadership

To Be Clear: We need someone who has been there and done it. If you can walk into a room of treasury professionals and immediately gain credibility, and you understand how holiday calendar changes cascade through derivative settlements and interest calculations, we want to hear from you.
