Core Responsibilities
- Revenue & Ticket Sales
- Be accountable for ticket sales performance across all ATO events.
- Translate revenue targets into clear, actionable marketing plans.
- Define launch plans, pricing strategy, discounting, and urgency mechanics.
- Actively manage ticket pacing and adjust strategy in real time to hit targets.
- Own referral and promotional mechanics end-to-end.
- Campaign Execution
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across email, paid, social, website, and partnerships.
- Write, review, and approve key campaign copy and messaging.
- Ensure campaigns are launched on time and optimised continuously.
- Identify gaps, risks, and underperformance early and fix them quickly.
- Own the marketing calendar, email sends, website updates, and launch communications.
- Brief, manage, and quality-check designers, media buyers, and freelancers.
- Set weekly priorities, deadlines, and KPIs.
- Be fully accountable for delivery and results.
- Be responsible for the final output of all marketing activity.
- Website & Systems Ownership
- Own the marketing tech stack (email, ticketing, referral tools, website, event app).
- Ensure clean integration with sales, ops, and production workflows.
- Own and manage the ATO website and CMS, ensuring all public-facing info is accurate.
- Brief designers and developers on updates and improvements.
- Test and QA all changes before launch.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales to align ticket pushes, sponsorship visibility, and timing.
- Collaborate with Ops and Production to ensure marketing promises match on-site reality.
- Support sponsor and partner positioning where required.
- Act as the central point of accountability for all marketing output.
- Onsite Content Management
- Lead marketing activity onsite at ATO events.
- Manage onsite video, photo, and social teams.
- Create shot lists, schedules, and briefs ahead of each event.
- Ensure onsite content supports live marketing and post-event campaigns.
- Act as the primary marketing contact during live events.
- Performance & Reporting
- Track performance across all channels (ticket sales, CPA, conversions, engagement).
- Review performance weekly and make fast, commercially informed decisions.
