fromstrengthtostrength.InJuly2026weannouncedastrategicpartnershipwithLIPSHealthcare,theUK’slargestprivateconsultant-led
multi-specialtygroup,andinOctoberweagreedtoacquiretwospecialistdiagnosticcentresfromAllianceMedical,onHarleyStreetandin
Marylebone.Thisautumn,wewillopenourfirstambulatoryclinicinSouthwestLondon,amajormilestoneinourmissiontobringworld-class,accessiblehealthcaretocommunitiesacrosstheUK.Joiningusnowmeansbeingpartofthisjourneyfromthegroundup,withreal
opportunitiestogrowaswedo.
Our33,000sqftclinicintheWimbledonQuarterShoppingCentrebringsadvanceddiagnostics,outpatientservicesandtheatresunderoneroof.ItincludesaPrivateGP,anExpressCareminorinjuriesunit,consultantandtreatmentrooms,advanceddiagnosticimaging(3TMRI,1.5TMRI,
CT,X-RayandDEXA),surgicaltheatresandinpatientwardfacilities.
Abouttherole
AsHeadofClinicalServices,you’llbetheseniorclinicalleaderforthesite.You’llleadeverynursingandclinicalsupportdepartment:theatre,
recovery,endoscopy,ExpressCare,treatmentrooms,healthassessmentsandpracticenursingforourPrivateGPservice.You’llsitonourMedicalAdvisoryCommitteeandhavearealsayinhowclinicalcareisrun.
Thisisararechancetobuildaclinicalservicefromthestart.You’lltaketheclinicthroughCareQualityCommissionregistrationandopening,
settingthestandardsandcultureyourservicewillbeknownfor.
Whatyou’llberesponsiblefor
Clinicalleadership
- Leadingallnursingandclinicalsupportdepartments,andbeingavisibleseniorclinicalpresenceonsite
- Actingasprofessionalleadforallnurses,includingNMCrevalidation,appraisal,competenciesandmandatorytraining
- Managingrostering,safestaffing,skillmixandtheuseofagencystaff
Patientsafetyandnamedleadroles
- Actingasnamedleadforinfectionpreventionandcontrol,safeguardingadultsandchildren,resuscitationandthedeterioratingpatient
- ActingastheResponsiblePersononourHomeOfficecontrolleddrugslicence,andleadingcontrolleddrugsgovernancewithpharmacy
Qualityandgovernance
- Runningthesiteclinicalauditprogramme(handhygiene,controlleddrugs,surgicalsafetychecklist,documentationandinfectioncontrol)andmakingsureactionsarecompleted
- Leadingonincidents,complaints,dutyofcandourandpatientsafetyalertsacrosstheclinicaldepartments
- Owningclinicalpoliciesandprocedures,includingExpressCaretriageandchildren’scompetencies
Regulation
- LeadingthesitethroughCQCregistrationandopenings,andholdingtheclinicalevidenceforinspection
