We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Scissor Lift Engineer to carry out both breakdown repairs (reactive maintenance) and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on loading bay equipment. This includes dock levellers, scissor lifts, and associated mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair faults on scissor lifts, dock levellers, and other loading bay equipment.
- Carry out mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic fault-finding, part replacement, and urgent breakdown support.
- Complete scheduled PPM to SLA standards, including inspections, testing, lubrication, adjustments, calibrations, and identifying early wear or safety issues.
- Ensure all work complies with PUWER, LOLER and company safety procedures.
- Provide professional customer service, advising on equipment condition and safe operation whilst having clear communication amongst our internal teams.
- Follow company policies, maintain vehicle and stock to standard, travel regionally/nationally.
