To support the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy services within an elite Women’s Football environment. The role will assist in injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of players, contributing to player availability and long-term athlete development under the supervision of a senior member of staff.

- Assist in the delivery of physiotherapy services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries.
- Support the design and delivery of individualised rehabilitation programmes aligned with best practice and performance demands.
- Assist with injury prevention strategies in collaboration with strength & conditioning and medical staff.
- Contribute to return-to-play planning within a multidisciplinary process.
- Provide support for pitch-side medical and emergency cover for training sessions and matches as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate medical records in line with data protection, confidentiality, and clinical governance standards.
- Communicate effectively with senior staff regarding player availability and progression.
- Support ongoing monitoring of player health, load tolerance, and injury trends.
- Assist in the organisation and daily running of the medical department.
- Adhere to club medical policies, FA regulations, and WSL medical requirements.
- Engage in continuous professional development.
- Promote the club’s mental health policies and practices to ensure an open, non-judgmental and inclusive environment for everyone engaged with the club.
- Adhere to the club’s safeguarding policies and procedures and are committed to our safeguarding values, creating a safe and positive environment for all those who interact with the club.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:- Essential: BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy or in progress.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or in progress.
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) or in progress.
- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
- ITMMiF Qualified (or willingness to obtain).
- Safeguarding and DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- UK Anti-Doping Introduction to Clean Sport certificate (or willingness to complete).
- Desirable: Experience working in a sports or team environment.
- Experience managing musculoskeletal injuries in athletes.
- Understanding of multidisciplinary team environments.
- A keen interest in elite Women’s Football.
- Developing clinical reasoning and hands-on treatment skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and accept feedback.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
